I was born with a heart defect, Dr.Milano and staff took very good care of me. My surgery was done blood less my recovery was faster. Dr.Milano takes the time to explain what you need to know. Duke hospital deserves 5 stars as well.
My husband was diagnosed with a severe case of CAD in early March '23. We were told by two other doctors in our area that he was not a candidate for surgery - just meds and lifestyle management. We were fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr. Milano a few weeks later. He told us he completely disagreed with those opinions and went on to show us why and what he would do. Six weeks later, Dr. Milano successfully performed a triple bypass with arterial grafts. We are 6 weeks out and my husband is doing amazing!!! Dr. Milano is the best of the best!!! Always seek that second or third opinion!
