Do not recommend this place. Elizabeth was extremely rude on the phone. Had no remorse and had a nasty attitude. Nurses should actually care about patients, i say this as a nurse myself. Proper patient care has gone down the drain, definitely just a number here.

Brought my husband here for the first time . Stern clinic on Jefferson in Oxford MS. The Doctor was great but the people behind the desk were awful
For starters , the phone was ringing off the hook but no one would answer it . They just let it ring and ring !
Second : we got here an hour and 15 minutes before our scheduled time and they waited until our appointment time to call my husband up to get his paperwork .
Third : while I was there with my husband . I walked up to the counter to reschedule my mom and dad's appointments for them because they were trying to call the stern clinic but as I said before they would not answer their phones ! RUDE!!
The girl that was waiting on me was not nice at all . It seemed that she just did not want to wait on me at all . She never looked at me the whole time I was standing there . She did reschedule my parents appointments . She just threw the papers on counter and said nothing . She did say thank you after I said thank you !
Fourth: there was a patient that came in and checked in , then she went to sit down . One of the staff members came out and told her she needed to look and read over the paperwork to make sure it was correct. She told her that she could not see. She even had a pair of dark sunglasses on so that should have told the staff member that she could not see . Anyway , instead of sitting down beside her and maybe reading the paperwork out to her to see if it was correct, she just stormed out of the waiting room , slinging the papers back and forth and went to the back .
The staff members need to be more caring and thoughtful to their patients.
They will need that kind of help one day and I'm sure they wouldn't want to be treated like that . You should treat others as you would want to be treated

My husband had chest and arm pain and was in the hospital for 2 days, was told that he would see Dr. May in a week. Went to appointment wait a hour passed appointment time to see a NP, who spent 5 minutes in the room, if that, stated she had read all reports from hospital visit, which was not true. Because when asked about blockage on CT, that our primary physician pointed out to us. She stated she hadn't seen that and that everything was fine. See you in 6 months. Thinking of getting a new cardiologist.

Drove an hour for my scheduled appointment, just for them to turn me away because I had my 9-month old child with me. I understand rules against having others, such as family members, at your appointment but none of that was disclosed before my appointment. A real inconvenience for a mother who doesn't have childcare. Putting my medical needs on the back burner just because I have a baby with me--not impressed. Will not be going back.
In response to sterns comment below, I did not receive a reminder call which is why I was unaware. But that is okay.. once again, I understand they have said rules. But in my position, it was very inconvenient.

I called to verify appointment w/Dr MayI was hung up on by Jennifer the 1st time and have been on hold now for 25 mins and still waiting. Something different needs to be done because this is crazy to be on hold for this long just to ask "When's my Appointment"
