Gus Theodos, MD, is board-certified interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease physician. Dr. Theodos performs a variety of procedures, including structural heart interventions, cardiac catheterization (including radial artery catheterization), coronary angioplasty and stenting, impella and intra-aortic balloon pump placement and management, interventions for chronic total occlusions, peripheral vascular interventions, and ablations for venous insufficiency. Dr. Theodos is passionate about the positive impact interventional cardiology has on improving his patient's health outcomes. This practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Gus! His knowledge and ability to explain everything in "normal" words is exceptional! His caring ways to be sure you understand what you need fixed, and how he's going to fix it, parallel's his unique bedside manor. I presented Dr. Theodos with a challenge. He not only accepted the challenge, he did so with rigor, insight and creativity. He shared his planning process which made me feel valued. He showed up on many levels allowing me to feel cared for and about. In the end I have a new opportunity for a life I didn't know I wanted or needed. I went from having a hole to being whole. I appreciate all of it. And the staff on the CCT unit was amazing. Katie H rocked nursing like it's nobody's business. Kindred spirit comes to mind when thinking about her. Angee, Jet and Tracy made my overnight stay comfortable and attentive. I know why the universe led me to St. Louis. BJC arrhythmia center was a big part of that. Thank you to all.
