I was scheduled to do a stress test today on August 30, 2023! It was due to be done at 1:00 PM. I received a phone call at 10 AM stating that they were still waiting for my insurance companies approval. I was told I would receive a call back in 10 minutes to verify, it has been okayed. An hour later I called them back and she told me to give her 10 more minutes to speak to the insurance company company! By this point, I am only one hour away from my scheduled test. I decided to call the insurance company myself. I was told that they did not call in with enough time for their approval process. I then call back Dr. Ahmad's office and my call was sent to voicemail and I was unable to leave a message due to it being full! Here it is 2:08 PM an hour and eight minutes after my test was supposed to begin. I still have not received a phone call from their office. My paperwork I received told me that if I did not cancel my appointment within 2 to 3 days before my appointment time I would be charged $200 for their inconvenience! Now I would like to know what I am being compensated for my Inconvenience? It cost me money to be able to be at this appointment at one o'clock! I'm out of money due to calling out of work. I am now stressed out and having chest pain due to their inconvenience. The cardiologist is supposed to help me with my heart not stress, my heart even More. I've never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. I will be canceling my echo, and never returning to this office again.

Very easy to talk to about my concerns, concerns are addressed immediately. Actual humans answer/return phone calls, not automated recording(s). Staff is absolutely excellent, offices are beautifully appointed , clean and comfortable. Offers EECP therapy (only 2 cardiologists offices in STL have this service available), also does in house stress testing and echocardiograms, vein ablation therapy. Bi-State Cardiovascular is very cost effective and convenient for all patients. Exceptional.

Dr. Ahmad has been my cardiologist for about 11 years. Not only did he (in conjunction with Dr. Pante) save my life, they monitor my meds and diet diligently. I recommend both to lots of people.

worst physiatrist u can get he was supposed to help me with my panic attacks and mental health. i was put in a mental hospital and he was my first dr that i went to he doesn't ask about how ur feeling and doesn't let u talk he inter ups which is very frustrating he doesn't listen when u say the medication isn't working he was being very rude the last time i saw him so i left
