About Dr. Stanley Ziomek, MD
Stanley Ziomek, MD, earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La., and completed his residency at UCLA Health in Los Angeles, Calif. He received additional training by completing a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Ark. and the University of Texas in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ziomek perform surgeries on the heart and lungs for patients with cancer, heart valve disease, coronary artery disease and lung disease. He is certified with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

I would like to commend Dr. Stanley Ziomek for the care he provided to my sister during her recent stay at St. Joseph Mosaic Hospital. He performed an emergency triple by-pass on November 14, 2023, after he had completed a 5-hour by-pass surgery that morning. His concern for her was above and beyond exceptional! He returned to the hospital that evening to insure she was OK when an additonal problem surfaced. The on-duty nurse called him at 4:00 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. for additional advice. UNBELIEVABLE DEDICATION! Bless him. The Mosaic hospital in St. Joseph can be proud of Dr. Ziomek AND the Nurses (Kiersten and Alex + others) in the ICU. Very impressive. THANK YOU. Gene Ricker
