I will not see this "Dr" again! It's been awhile, but he basically told me I needed a heart transplant due to my left side not pumping as it should, when the right side is my issue. He handed me a piece of paper explaining a procedure for my left side that I do not need and left the room! He didn't let me ask questions or anything. He was with me a total of 5 minutes and this was my first visit with him. It's sad when your 18 year old daughter was even uncomfortable. I have been blessed now with another cardiologist. Please, please be leary with this one.

Never have had the issues with Dr. Soontrapa that others have reported; found him to be very empathetic, well educated and experienced; a good listener, and easily understood, even though he has a noticeable accent typical of people who originated in S. E. Asia or East India, which I find rather pleasant to hear; thus, 5 is my rating;

He is very knowledgeable, he knows what he is doing. He is very compassionate, has a great bedside manner. He explains everything so you can understand what's going on. My family and I are very pleased with him.

Dr. Soontrapa is probably a great cardiologist if you have a life threatening heart condition. Anything short of that, and he was quite dismissive. I asked questions in an attempt to get some answers and about how to manage my situation. He did not spend more than 5 minutes with me, and did not seem interested in helping me get to the bottom of my symptoms. He left me disappointed and tried to give me a fist bump before leaving. I would recommend seeking a different cardiologist if you want someone to help you find answers.

I have no problem with the doctor, but his office charged my insurance for an ultrasound that I never had. Cox Health could care less Their navigator disconnected while I was verifying my contact info.
