Beware of this doctors office. If you end up being 15 mins late due to a miscommunication of time they will reschedule you 3 months out and say good luck. When asked for even a phone call for results they said dr Kahn won't call his patients and you have to wait the 3 months. Nothing like stressing for months over results for nothing.

I was very pleased with Dr Kahn. His staff was able to work me into his schedule right away after I had an ER visit for heart problems
I like that he discussed the testing he was ordering so that I knew what our next steps would be. I would recommend him.

My sister ended up in the ER last night over a call back she never received! Firstly, she's only 49 and apparently had a Type 2 MI (heart attack) almost 3 years ago and went to this hospital he works for they (ER Dr) told her it was AFib not a heart attack. She saw it in her medical records/reports last week and was shocked! Then she starts seeing this Dr. Kahn about 1.5 to 2 years ago. He told her she has a weak heart after an echo and it's not filling with blood and that her valves are leaking. When she asked what she should do in terms of making changes to help herself out... he told her "Nothing that's my job". So, she shouldn't exercise or change her diet, nothing to help heart health or keep it from worsening at a faster rate? She has heart disease but he's never officially told her that and apparently a prognosis of 5 years with both conditions yet he's never discussed this with her. Has done an echo and nothing else and she's been seen by other cardiologists that have said she needs a stress test and thermal ablation stat to control the Supra Ventricular Tricardia she has which is the cause of all of this. He had her on 2 medications... a beta blocker and one was a short term medication (because it's considered partially dangerous for long-term use). He upped the beta blocker by half and took her off the other without weaning her from it which was potentially very dangerous and told her to call the office if she had any issues. When her heart rate shot up and she could feel her pulse through her entire body and was sweating profusely and was breathless a couple days later, she called his office with the symptoms and ask for someone to call her back, she got nothing. The nurse called 2 weeks later. Now yesterday she called his office with chest pain, sweats, heart rate way over 100 beats a minute and pins and needles in her body and she was breathless. She waited 4 hours before she went to the ER and by the time she got there most symptoms subsided and her HR was down but still over 100. They never called her. I am currently begging her to see a different cardiologist and out of this network. This hospital he works with has a 2.9 rating and according to the hospital he works for his office is overwhelmed with patients. Not good.
