I had my baby here a long while ago and came here a couple times for emergency visits and always had an amazing experience. My niece was feeling sick and shaking and dizzy I told her don't go to Truman go to NKC hospital they are awesome. Fast forward we were in there for 5 hrs just for the most nonchalant care I have ever witnessed. We would have been gone sooner but someone at the lab said the nurse needed to get more blood due to something one of them did wrong. lol what a joke I told the nurse we had I have to tell you this place has gone downhill. Next time if you want to go to Truman do it this place is no better. I edited this review to show the bruise that showed up the next day on my niece they caused just off them trying to put an iv in her. Please train your nurses better !!!

I've spent the last several months in and out of other hospitals in the area after contracting a post-surgical infection. Despite NKC Health being 90 minutes from my home, I'd heard they had the largest orthopedic specialty program in KC and that it was excellent.Two hospitalizations and two major surgeries within two months and I couldn't be happier. The doctors, nurses, techs, PTs & OTs on the ortho floor and on the Acute Rehab Unit were by and large caring, respectful, and I could tell hospital staff were actually communicating about my medical and post-hospital needs. Thank you to everyone at NKC Health for your caring, commitment, and dedication to your patients!

Recently gave birth and had a wonderful experience at this hospital. Great staff and overall felt very seen and acknowledged not only as a patient but as a person. Really want to give a lot of kudos to the whole maternity Ward both in labor and delivery and the folks upstairs afterwards in postpartum area. Labor and delivery especially went really really well and had a fantastic team. Wish I would have lived here when I had my first kiddo because that was an amazing experience.

Check in ladies were great. Didn't have to wait long to get seen. The CNA was extremely efficient but appeared to have a lot of tasks to do. Written instructions for surgery were clear and it was nice to receive the carbohydrate drinks instead of going somewhere to get them.

I stopped in to have labs drawn and an EKG before having surgery. No appointment was required. The lab process went very quickly. The lab tech was skilled and did not have trouble finding a vein. The wait for the EKG was a little longer but not bad at all. The technician was friendly and put me at east. Everything was great!
