The Birthing floor was horrible, had one good nurse. The others acted like it was an inconvenience to care for you. It is a long story on that. Every concern I had, brushed aside. My primary doctor through mercy even recommended for me to go to Freeman if I were to get pregnant ever again. When my five month old was only a few weeks old we took her to the er, to draw blood they lost an uncovered needle under her, they laughed about it. Three nurses were unable to get a IV on her, both elbows and hands were bruised for weeks when they tried and finally gave up. Thankfully a nice NICU nurse came to put an IV on her. Recently brought her in for a high fever, her doctor office and urgent care was closed since it was night time. Then was asked why we were there for a fever, a five month old. Sent home with a 102 fever, told she had a cold. No testing, nothing just looked at her. Her follow up with her normal doctor tested her, she had Covid. The only good thing about mercy is the pediatric ward in the hospital, they were amazing. Her pediatric doctor and care team in her office are an amazing and caring group.

I am right here in ICU right now and can tell you that this is the BEST care I've had. I have a looooong medical history. The nurses truly care. They have come to check on me on days I am not still assigned to them. Each one has been so very sweet,comforting and attentive. I wish I could remember everyone's name...but the 2 brain bleeds.....however Josh & Ashlynne.....AMAZING,CARING WONDERFUL !!! Thank you for the support and comfort in this very scary time. My doctors have been excellent..even the food is REALLY good !!

First I wanna say a million thank you's to most of ICU staff. Nurse Jade, Dr Martin and med student Troy have been absolutely amazing explaining things to our family. You guys truly do an amazing job and we appreciate you! However the nurse that worked the first night in the ICU should never have been there on her own bc she had no clue what she was doing, like zero. You should probably train her more before allowing her to work on patients, especially ICU patients! Also your hospital sucks! Your ICU waiting room is a literal joke. The one place you should make your patients families comfortable bc they are there for a long time you definitely don't. Your cafeteria isn't open on weekends which makes no sense bc people have to eat not just families and patients but your nurses and doctors. For such a large facility it really is one of the worst hospitals I've ever been in

Had my lab drawn in October. My results were not showing up 2 months later. Finally searched them down and was sent an email but my physician in Grove did not. I received a bill from quest lab today and my insurance information was not inputted in the order and my results were sent to a dr in Lanexa KS. The only thing the processor got right was my name and address. This could have had serious consequences to my health. Not to mention I had 5 attempts and 3 ppl before a successful draw was done. This type of health care is unacceptable. People do rely on professional care. Not to mention this was a major hipa viol Edie Snow

A special thank you to Georgia on Cardiac Floor 7 for the excellent care given to my brother while he is a patient. I can tell by talking to her on the phone she really cares about her patients. Today was his birthday and the staff made him feel special. I appreciate that so much.
