I went to the emergency room on Saturday, 9/13/2025 and received excellent timely care for pneumonia. I couldn't say enough nice things about the physician who attended to my needs, and his nursing staff as well as the x-ray staff and laboratory staff. All were very prompt, and the whole process took just four hours, despite the fact that it was in the middle of the night! I was very pleased and would highly recommend this hospital.

There seemed to be lots of waiting time. When my husband was OK'd to be released, we waited almost 6 hours for that to happen. Then, there was no immediate access to a wheelchair. We waited another half hour for a wheelchair to be delivered to the room. We were impressed on how nice the staff was. All in all, our visit was good even though we were there for over 28 hours waiting for the release. We were told my husband could possibly be released after the procedure. They kept him only because it was a 3:00 scheduled procedure. He was released around 4:00 on the 2nd day!

I visited the Outpatient Center for a CT SCAN. The front end staff were friendly, kind, efficient and personable. Sorry, I don't remember my technician name. She was friendly and courteous. Fully explained the procedure. Made sure that i was comfortable. She said that start to finish would be 10 and she was accurate.

I have always been told to avoid Centerpoint Hospital unless I have a minor cut, etc. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean and organized the lobby was laid out, my check-in process was quick and my nurse Heather in the cardio lab was amazing. She explained each step, had a great calming personality and was there the beginning to end of my procedure. Will definitely recommend Centerpoint in the future

Hope that you don't end up on the 5th floor. The nurses are horrible. No bedside manner at all. My mother had 3 blood clots in her arm and they let her sit there for 4 hours before anything was done. She was in such terrible pain the whole time. The woman next door was screaming for thirty minutes while the nurses were on their phone in the nurses station. The policy is to be checked on every hour well they put a not on her door saying don't bother with vitals. My mom is 130 lbs and had been poked and prodded my incompetent nurses who could not find a vein. I was there for 4 hours and only saw 1 nurse the whole time. So sad
