TLDR; Dr. Kumar is rude, uninformed, dismissive, will only spend 5 minutes with you no matter your concerns, and is the worst doctor I've ever had the displeasure of seeing I saw Dr. Kumar twice over 2 years. The first time I came to her I was mostly there because I didn't have a primary care provider and needed some basic preventative prescriptions for an upcoming trip to Asia. The doctor filled the prescriptions I requested, but I spent at least half an hour filling out her intake forms and she, in our appointment, spent about 30 seconds on the other concerns I raised. It was frustrating Fast forward to my second visit where I decided I would come in to my appointment very organized to address mostly the same concerns I brought up in the first visit as well as some new concerns from blood tests I did outside of the doctor's office. Dr. Kumar could not wait to get out of that room fast enough. She barely looked through the pages of notes and test documentation I printed out and organized for her, brushed off every concern I had, and eventually ended the appointment by telling me repeatedly "If you don't like my opinion, find a doctor who's opinion you do like". Where my blood tests indicated out of range cardiovascular risk, Dr. Kumar said "well I don't run those tests so they're not important." I have since done my own research and gone to see a better informed provider, and the tests I had done are huge indications for cardiovascular disease and their molecules' involvement in those disease processes is well research and widely discussed among health researchers and providers in this area. Never in my life have I been so dismissed and belittled by a healthcare "professional". Dr. Kumar has the worst people skills I have ever seen and needs to re-up her education. She should be ashamed of treating patients who are worried about their health this way

Dr. Kumar is an exceptional doctor who really takes the time to listen and explain. Her bedside manner is above reproach. She is very thorough and truly cares. Her staff is courteous, I've never had an issue with them being unkind or dismissive.

Dr. Kumar's office staff are incredibly unhelpful and uninformed on how to perform basic tasks. I chased after the office staff to complete some simple immunization forms for over a month and had to come into the office 3 separate times to ensure the forms were done correctly and sent to me. I had several question about the immunizations and asked to speak to Dr. Kumar several times, all of which were denied. Several of my immunizations were expired and still signed off on, which caused problems with my university. Despite starting the forms well in advance of the due date, the slow nature of the office staff caused me to cut it very close to the final deadline. And afterwards I realized, I was still due for some of the immunizations. Much of this confusion could have easily been prevented with the opportunity to speak with Dr. Kumar directly for even a few minutes, but I was not given the opportunity.

After contracting Covid infection I followed up with Dr Kumar to have some imaging and lab work because after weeks of contracting Covid i was still feeling bad. Some of my results came back abnormal, the same results which had been normal just a few months prior, during my yearly physical. Dr Kumar simple told me it was due to resolving Covid infection, nothing further did she recommend. I reviewed my own results and was alarmed by what I learned. I sent Dr Kumar a message asking if she recommended any follow up labs to make sure they had returned to normal. Dr. Kumar didn't recommend any follow up regarding abnormal findings. She simply didn't care about follow up care after I contracted Covid. I am no doctor nor would I want to be but I would think abnormal labs would be a symptom and a reason to repeat the labs. She simply doesn't care. I fired her as my doctor and will follow up with another physician. Hopefully one that cares or at least does their job correctly.

Dr. Kumar's proactive approach saved my life....literally. I came from a doctor who reduced his number of patients and I found her. She sent me to a cardiologist to have a stress test, which led to a cardiac Cath, which showed 95% blockage in two arteries and 85% in another 3. the next day I had 5 bypass surgeries. She also makes sure you get what you need from the medical profession. When I could not get an appointment from my husband's neurologist and they didn't return phone. calls, she called and they called us the next day. She goes out of her way to take care of her patients and I highly recommend her.
