The only thing this doctor has ever done for my wife is made her feel like less of a human being. To this day her situation has still not been determined and she has no quality of life. He very quickly determined It "wasn't my wife's heart" causing the problems even though test showed heart issues and that's why we were referred to him. In his own words he said "it's not your heart so I don't know what to tell you." I'm telling you I felt like I was at a muffler shop and the guy said well. It's not your muffler so go somewhere else but we're not desling with car parts, this is my wife's heart and if it fails we won't be stranded, Our entire family would be shattered. How can it not be her heart when it flutters, Begins to race without any reasoning and she is out of breath and dizzy Just walking a few steps.
He literally told my wife that she just needed to lose weight, and that was her problem, yet nothing in her life has changed and she has been the same weight for more than a decade. When he comes in the room it's almost like he has a stopwatch and he has to be out the door in under 2 minutes. Don't believe me? then please make yourself an appointment and find out for yourself the hard way. I'm blown away at how this man will push you out the door and blame whatever's wrong with you on something else.
It wasn't until I told him that it's to the point that suicide had been considered as an option that he let go of the door handle and leaned against the wall and said "well, I don't know what else we can do but keep running test." I wish I would have had him on a tape recorder or a video that you could have seen the condascending careless person he truthfully is. I understand hes a heart doctor and outside of his specialty there are things that he doesn't handle but to so easily and so quickly brush my wife off after telling him that she can't even sleep in her own bed now or Stand up more than a couple minutes and that every moment of every day has been like this for a couple of months and for him to just brush her off.....
This man forgot where he came from a long time ago.
If anyone wants to come on here and tell me I'm wrong. I am willing to sit down with that doctor across a table on live stream so all can see. In my opinion the man sees people as money and profit is the name of the game.
please pray for my wife

This "Dr" blew me off and wouldnt listen to any of my issues regarding my continual bouts of chest pain. (I guess once he realized I didnt need surgery or a special procedure there wasnt enough money to be made. He's only interested in surgical cases....he acted annoyed with me at every encounter. Like, "stop wasting my time") He expected me to be able to complete a stress test WHILE on a beta blocker that keeps the heart rate low and when my legs got tired from lack of oxygen and blood flow, because the beta blocker wouldnt let my heart rate go up, he told me condescendingly, that I couldn't complete the test because I was out of shape. Im probably in better shape than the average person but covid messed up my system. I had no problem completing a stress test only a few months prior because THAT Dr knew I needed to hold the medication for my heart to respond to exercise properly. "Dr" Rinder wouldn't accept the results from that test and wouldnt conduct one without the beta blocker in my system. Insisting on a chemical stress test instead. I refused because my heart overreacts to ANYTHING intravenous even simple intraveneous benadryl, which makes my chest feel like it is going to explode and makes me shake violently, unable to even speak. So, NO, Im not doing a chemical stress test that my heart will percieve to be 10x the dose Im given. It responds like that because I have IST.
Due to a miscommunication neurologically from either a lasting reaction I had to anesthesia or covid.
Hes probably not familiar with IST or the difficulties associated with treating it. Because he only does surgery. So by then, I just didnt trust his competency regarding my issues. He claims my chest pain is simply from anxiety. Listen up "Dr".....It has since been discovered by a real Dr that my chest pain is being caused by Coronary Artery Spasms due to Endothelial Disfunction and one of the triggers is nocturnal oxygen desaturation. From Severe Restrictive Lung Disease caused by covid. THATS why I was wearing a oximeter, so it would wake me when my oxygen dropped too low (70s and 80s) during sleep. But I was ridiculed for doing that. So, TWO separate heart issues going on at the same time. Would have never been discoveted by this one. He said, theres nothing wrong with your heart, move along. My arteries are completely clean but they spasm closed and if not addressed can lead to a heart attack. My new cardiologist put together a plan to address the condition of my arteries. The endothelial condition in my arteries even caused me to have a vertebral artery dissection before I was properly diagnosed. MANY triggers cause the coronary artery spasms. Even certain foods. The spasms are an autonomic and chemical response as a result from covid messing up neurological signals in the brain/nervous system. My current cardiologist is wonderful and listens. Thats how he discovered the problem. Sadly Morton rinder doesn't listen. Drs need to understand that they will NEVER know everything and that EACH pt is different and may have something going on that youre missing or not familiar with.
If you're in need of surgery, maybe hes your guy. But if you would like someone working to get to the bottom of whats going on for prevention and treatment to avoid a heart attack....look Elsewhere

Dr. Rinder performed bypass surgery on my Grandfather when no other doctor would do it. Not only did Dr. Rinder perform an extremely complicated surgery, but he did it perfectly and saved my Grandfather's life. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rinder. He is an extraordinarily gifted surgeon and we're so lucky to have found him. Thank you, Dr. Rinder. From the Hummel family.
