About Dr. Scott C. Laura, MD
Dr. Scott Laura is an interventional cardiologist who is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology and trained at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He is certified from the National Board of Echocardiography and has advanced training in arrhythmia diagnosis. He served as Interventional Cardiology Program Director at LSU Health Sciences Center helping to develop and refine treatment protocols for cardiology patients. His honors include the Raja W. Dhurandhar, M.D. Outstanding Fellow of Cardiology Award and recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
