About Dr. Donald Smith, DO
Dr. Smith joined North Mississippi Medical Clinics in 1993. He says he chose health care because he wanted to "become a country doc." His hobbies include outdoor activities, boating and hunting. Favorite quote: Can't never could do anything. Dr. Smith received his medical training at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va., and completed his residency at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Fla. Dr. Smith is a board-certified family physician. Dr. Smith received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)/American Diabetes Association (ADA) Diabetes Physician Recognition Program.

I have been seeing Dr Smith since 1986. When he walks in the room he's always so polite and friendly. He knows my body than I do. Hes the one that always diagnosed me with everything. And sent me to the right place. He sits and listens to your problems. I don't want another Dr. I keep telling him he can't retire. Best Dr by far.
