North Memorial Health Clinic - Minnetonka

Dr. Farah Khan and her staff are sharp, top-notch care providers! I appreciate them all so much. Her nurse, Amy, and diabetes educator, Heather, never miss a thing and are very responsive and attentive. Dr. Kahn's knowledge and experience really shines through. She's warm, listens, and takes the time to really determine best course of action. Love them!

I had high hopes for this place and their endocrinology, and I'm now left very disappointed. Dr Kahn ordered me large panel of labs the first time she saw me and I finally found out my thyroid hormone was low. She put me on a medication but unfortunately I felt like it wasn't doing anything. I had to see other doctors in the meantime because my appointment was months out, and they messed with my meds and left me feeling worse. I returned to my regular dosage a few months before my appointment and felt better, but still very similar to how I was when I first saw Dr Kahn. After having to reschedule once and finally seeing Dr Kahn again after almost an entire year, she didn't ask if my medication was working, how I was feeling etc. Overall we spent less than 5 minutes talking and she ordered more labs and a placeholder appointment 4 months away if my hormone levels are off. At one point she took out her phone to text someone, and while it could very well be work related it just kinda sealed the feeling that she was too busy to pay full attention to my needs. I'm really disillusioned with the medical field at this point, and while I could've been the one to bring up my concerns, I know in the end it's better to cut my losses and move on if I want answers to my health. The lab nurses and receptionists are extremely nice and caring and I appreciate how well they do their job. The one star isn't aimed at them.

While there are several North Memorial Clinic locations near my house, I specifically choose the one in Minnetonka because of Elizaveta House, my nurse care practitioner. Ms. House is not only thorough in her examinations but also remarkably insightful. She excels at interpreting complex medical reports, as demonstrated when she seamlessly integrated information from another specialist into my main visit. Her holistic approach, coupled with her exceptional listening skills and intelligence, ensures every visit is both reassuring and productive. Ms. House's expertise and care exceed that of any physician I've encountered, making the drive to Minnetonka well worth it. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking expert and thoughtful medical care.

I canceled my appt at 6:30 because I decided to go in sooner and do a walk in. It said it would be approximately 40 min. At the 35 min mark the provider came out to talk to me and said we may not be able to see them at all. That's only unless someone doesn't show up. So the walk in thing is complete BS... Also someone showed up for a 3:30 appt at 3:10. She knew I had already waited long and could have taken me then as a strep test for my 8 year old wouldn't take that long. But instead she took that patient back early. CVS you need to change your walk in policy and verbiage because it's a load of crap. I have otherwise had a good experience at cvs. But this was not one of them. This left me very frustrated. And to top it off the 6:30 time slot was taken by then.

Dr. George was truly a blessing to work with. He took the time to walk me through my options and medications in a way that felt thoughtful and unrushed which is something I haven't experienced at an urgent care in years. He went above and beyond when I ran into insurance issues, providing updates and actively working to find a solution. His level of care and compassion was exceptional, and I'm incredibly grateful.
