This has been my husband's heart hospital for many years. The health care he's received there is excellent. However, the location within Minneapolis (Abbott Northwestern Hospital on Chicago Ave. S) has gone WAY DOWNHILL over the past 10 years. It's awful, with higher crime and horrible road construction, as well as building construction and renovations. We dread having to drive there now, trying to find parking, and then navigate our way through the facility to get from parking to the clinic. It sucks. Since they tore down the main parking ramp about a year ago, I usually just drop him off, find curbside parking nearby, and wait for him to text me that he's done and ready to be picked up.
