Patient
Dr Kevin Graham was my late husband's heart specialist. DH had severe congenital heart disease and defect and we went to Dr Graham Late in DH medical history. We left Mayo congenital heart specialists. We had been there from 1990 to 1996. We had heard great words about Dr Graham & he was a great way to turn for us. We sure liked abbott treatment far better than Mayo. So relaxing and no being herded around like bunch of cows like mayo tends to do. Dr Graham did all they could. 1996 to 2003 were at least calming years before DH passed at 47. No one had expected him to ever live that long once they discovered his genetic diseases and defects that had they been fixed when he was a small child, he would probably still be with us. He lived to 33 just being told his racing heart and episodes was just a heart murmur. Please everybody, get your hearts checked, an echo cardiogram is very important for you and your children, get a baseline especially if any heart issues in the family. My doctor advised a baseline echo and blood work when I was early 40s. So glad I did. Should be done on everyone, as babies or children especially the echo. Then again early 20s or before sports in high school and another baseline at 40. That way, more study and someone like Dr Graham could see exact progress of a persons heart. We all wait till there is a problem it seems or heart attack or God forbid, death. Be heart proactive with yourself and your children. We had our kids checked via echo as soon as we found out problems were genetically inherited. Scary.
