I took my daughter to Dr. Schneider to address concerns with POTS. He was very dismissive and condescending. My daughter has really bad social anxiety and fears going to the doctor so she specifically has me take her and speak on her behalf because she gets anxious and thinks they won't believe her (due to past experiences). He interrupted me when I was trying to explain what was happening to have her answer. She was freezing up and looked to me for help. He then went on speaking for a good 10 minutes without engaging in a back and forth conversation. Unfortunately, this appointment reinforced my daughter's belief that most doctors don't care about her experience and how it affects her quality of life.
