I came to the hospital due to low SpO2 readings on my FDA-approved home pulse oximeter and severe chest pain. The waiting room was very dirty and disorganized, and I had to wait several hours before being seen. Once I was eventually moved to a room, the machines used to monitor my heart rate and oxygen saturation were not connected for most of my stay. This hospital demonstrated a lack of ethical and responsible care. It is not possible to accurately monitor oxygen levels or heart rate when the monitoring equipment is not connected. I requested a test where oxygen is measured during exertional because my symptoms worsen with physical activity, but this request was refused.

WTH happened to this place?! Seems like this hospital is Trinity Health - Muskegon in disguise. My father-in-law had a severe issue last night and we came to the hospital as fast as we could today. We wanted to see his own doctor and asked a bunch of questions. We arrived to his room right at noon. My brother-in-law arrived soon after. We waited. No one showed up. We asked again and the RN stated that they only do virtual meetings with his doctor and he'll check to see when they will come. No one showed up. Not one doctor. We had to leave at 3:30 and race home before the kids get off the bus. My brother-in-law stayed until 5 and no one showed up then. Great job U of M Health. If I could give 0 stars I would. To save you headaches, stress and anxiety; stay away from here, Trinity, (especially Muskegon) and go somewhere else

My husband was in the ICU care after surgery. The bathroom for family is dirty with obvious stuff spilled on the floor in the corner and it was dried up so had been there awhile also the walls have not been washed or wiped down with stuff splattered on those. There wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom either. The elevator for ICU was also dirty and gross with stuff spilled on the floor and splattered on the walls and hand prints and smears all over the doors and control panel. This is a hospital and should be sanitized everyday!

Recently we had a late night visit to ER. My husband was in so much pain he couldn't walk straight. Registration was a joke. The young man at the registration desk displayed no emotion or empathy when checking him in. I asked how long the wait and he told us about 1 1/2 hours. A short time later i told him my husband's arms were now numb/tingly. Again, no empathy or any response. 2 1/2 hours later I asked another rude RN about the wait time. His answer was an abrupt, I can't answer that ma'am! We have to prioritize! Then he walked away. 5 hours after checking in, we were finally seen! With so many negative reviews, you would think that there would be additional training for ER staff about how to better related with patients, like showing simple common courtesy and respect! This is supposed to be a healing place! You may be understaffed, but the lack of empathy, compassion and negative treatment is intolerable and unacceptable. This is the second occurrence. We will NOT be returning!

This place is about to be sued and they don't even understand the just of how bad they messed up. Malpractice, unprofessionalism. They violated quid pro quo. They went against half the US codes for hospital regulations. Then this red headed guy from the emergency room his name was Dan, was so cold hearted towards my wife. He didn't care that she had a serious emergency. Then I mentioned that I remember faces. Because I didn't see his name tag, so I could mentioned to his boss or someone who could do something about it. He took it as a threat and lied to the security guards to get my kicked out. Saying I threaten them all. Which was a croc. They told me to leave the premise or they would contact the police. I didn't do anything to warrant any of the sort. I couldn't stay with my wife who just has some major issues not going to mention. They didn't care. I will never do business here or will anyone I know do that either. They will also be hearing from my attorney.
