I was refused medical care from Dr Fertel. I needed to see him for follow-up care after surgery to remove my appendix when it ruptured. I don't have insurance or money because I haven't been working. I still have pain in my side. But that isn't important enough to see the Dr. I guess I just have to go back to the emergency room.
I had a Dr referral for lipedema. Dr. Fertel was cold and dismissive. He didn't even examine my legs. He told me I needed bariatric surgery (which I do). I asked what I could do in the meantime since that is a very long process. He told me " you can have therapy when you are a normal size. "
I love him, he saved my life and I know his hands are blessed by God. He doesn't talk much, he listens well and he'll take great care of you!
Dr. Fertel did a colonscopy on me for the 2 time in 5 years. He's great Doctor and his staff is amazing.
Dr. Fertel is the reason I am alive. Yes he is not the most social person but he knows what needs to be done.
