After having an experience with multiple doctors disregarding my symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Bragman and he was great. He truly listened to me about my symptoms and issues and really cared to get to the bottom of what was going on. I finally feel like I have someone that hears me, cares to help, and is on my side.

I'D GIVE ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION. I am a nurse out of state but my father lives in MI. He has been struggling for the past few months with upper respiratory issues. He does not have health ins and does not like to go to the doctor. I talked him into going to a walk in clinic and they treated him with antibiotics. He needed either a second round or a stronger antibiotic as he completed the course but was not 100% better. I did some research and found West Bloomfield Internal Medicine. The reviews were great so I talked my Dad into going. I told him to first ask over the phone if they will see him since he is cash pay, the receptionist told him yes and scheduled his appt. While he was waiting in the lobby, he overheard the staff discussing another person's financial and living situation which is SO unprofessional. Then once in the exam room my Dad was explaining his history and telling the doctor that he is self pay. He has cash but obviously wants to be reasonable about what tests are ordered etc. After that the doctor refused to treat him. My Dad NEEDS antibiotics and a chest x-ray I know for sure... and I was HOPING for someone with a high education and understanding than me be able to help my Dad. Too bad this facility only cares about how much they can charge insurance companies and NOT ABOUT TREATING SICK PATIENTS. THE ENTIRE POINT OF STATING HE WAS SELF PAY WAS TO AVOID HIM GETTING OUT, SPREADING GERMS, WASTING OTHERS TIME AND HIS OWN, AND GETTING SOME HELP. So WHY didn't they just stop him over the phone if they don't like self pay patients???? DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE, THEY ARE PRACTICING MEDICINE FOR THE WRONG REASONS!!!

I have had multiple problems with this practice. First encounter that was supposed to be for a full physical. Was just a "meet and greet" and was coded as a complaint of fatigue.
Now I keep getting bills in the mail for a co-pay I have already paid months ago.

Dr. Bragman is a great primary care physician. Every check up is efficient and he keeps me well informed about my health. His staff is very professional and answers my call every time I need a refill on my prescriptions. Highly recommend him for a primary care physician.

I came to Dr. Bragman for a physical, and to confirm I didn't experience a discogenic back injury after lifting something very heavy and experiencing subsequent back pain.
Four doctors entered the room, and Dr. Bragman immediately offered me pain medication without even completing an assessment to determine the source of my back pain.
Then, they took my blood (typical procedure during a physical). The blood test results indicated my liver was having serious issues, and that my blood sugar was at 29 mg/dL. If that was the case, I would have been passed out or dead, and I was feeling fine.
Later, after calling the office myself, about 4 days after the blood test results were available, they told me they needed to redo the blood test - BUT THEY GAVE NO REASON WHY. So somebody messed up the test. Either the lab, or the office mixed up my blood with someone else's.
THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME TO INFORM ME OF THE INCORRECT RESULTS. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CALL THEM FOR SUCH INFORMATION.
Now, I received a $300 plus bill for the erroneous blood test procedure.
This office is a chaotic mess. I would strongly recommend avoiding this office at all costs.
I was looking for a DO instead of an MD, and this is how I was rewarded.
Anyway, I went to another doctor, had the blood test redone, and the results were normal.
