My cardiologist in the same office resigned so they sent me to him. I was coming in on the recommendation of my primary physician and surgeon. Specifically for a list of symptoms such as 2 syncopated episodes after standing, chest pain radiating down my left arm, and heart palpitations. I was diagnosed with RBBB 2 years prior and was advised to come in by my previous cardiologist if I had new or changing symptoms. He walked in then walked out due to a phone call. Returned 7 minutes later and asked why I was in. Then stated he didn't believe I would have heart issues because I am 24. He did not ask my history or family history. I began to explain the first fainting episode and how my vitals were normal after, he immediately interrupted me and kept repeating "if your blood pressure was normal, it wasn't your heart." In a rude, condescending tone while hitting his hand on the table. I quickly left and refused any further care. I would recommend someone with more professionalism.

Dr.Belen was very highly recommended by my father. He was my father's Dr, then my husband's Dr. now he's mine. I get treat like I'm the drs family. He's very thorough and thoughtful and honest. I know Dr.Belen Is a very good Dr, my father didn't go to a lot of drs but he really had a lot of respect for Dr. Belen. He recommended him to my husband and I. Thank you dad whose in heaven for telling us about Dr.Belen. And a big Thank you to Dr. Belen!!

I have been a pt of Dr Belens for the past seven months and have always fountd his staff courteous from sign in to sign out. Impressed also as at sign in given a list of my meds and asked to make any corrections. I find Dr Belen to be extremely Knowedgable and willing to spend time that may be needed to be certain I understand all and any changes he may make to therapy. Patient in answering any questions About my therapy . Dr Belen is one of the best Physicisns I have had.

Worst patient service I have ever experienced. My first visit to the office I was left waiting in the exam room for an hour and a half and still no doctor or a polite update as to where he was. Sorry, my time and job is valuable to me, and if was running that far behind I would owe it to my patient to have a nurse notify them of the delay. I had to reschedule an appointment because I had to get one back to work so I wouldn't lose my job. Rescheduled and the earliest I could get in was a month later. An hour and a half later during my rescheduled appointment, I am still in the same predicament. Apparently, patient care and consideration is not the norm here. However, they are happy to bill you $600 for a visit where the doctor was too busy to see you! Beware!

I think Dr Belen is great; he listens to me and allows me to participate in care. I do think that the office/medical staff lack initiative.
