Alessandro Vivacqua, MD

My husband, Tim N., had a double bypass on July 25, 2025, and Dr. Vivacqua did the surgery and it all went well. He had no problems other than the leg where the vein was harvested, had to go back in to have it cleaned out, but Tim was able to get in right away while he was still hospitalized to have that taken care of. That went well too. Dr. Vivacqua was very attentive, empathetic, and patient, and answered all our questions, both while as an inpatient and after discharge as well. Tim and I both recommend Dr. V. to anyone who needs a heart procedure, you would be in great hands!

Dr Vivacqua saved my life. He is a very knowledgeable and skilled Thoracic surgeon. He replaced my aortic valve with precision. His demeanor is kind and compassionate. I always felt that I was in good hands.

Dr. Vivcqua repaired my mitral valve in June 2022 and it failed back at square one. Would have been nice if he would have contacted me to discuss what happened. I realize Doctors aren't perfect and cannot be 100% all of the time it happens. Otherwise was nice and attentive when dealing with him.

Dr. Vivacqua was my husband's heart surgeon. Our family was incredibly blessed to have an exceptional experienced and highly skilled surgeon.
