Ascension Borgess Hospital Borgess Heart Institute - Woodbridge

The providers are great BUT the support staff/communication/follow up provided by the non medical staff is probably the worst in the industry. To say dealing with the office staff is a horrible experience would be a gross understatement. Good luck trying to get through on the phone and don't expect anyone to follow up on any issue no matter how urgent. It's a shame really because the doctors are great but the doctors are only as effective as their support staff. On a side note, the support staff of their competition at Bronson isn't any better so if you have a cardiac problem in the Kalamazoo area....GO TO U of M in Ann Arbor!

I would like to thank everyone that took care of me yesterday for my procedure. Dawn, Courtney, Tatum and Rachael were all extremely nice, caring and professional. They made a scary, unpleasant, and uncomfortable situation better. Their friendly, pleasant and personal attention was such a welcome surprise. In a world where it seems so impersonal at times, everyone at Woodbridge was super. Thank you Dr. Chen for your excellent care and compassion, you definitely are a top notch doctor and person. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. My Dr never called in refills for medicine reason I went there in the first place. I called after pharmacy told me medication was on hold. Nothing happened called a second time person who answered the phone cut me off twice and in my opinion was very rude. I will not return not only was the Dr negligent but the staff is very rude.

Went into the urgent care facility on a Saturday. There were a lot of people there, and based on my previous experience at west side medical center I figured I was in for a 4 hour wait. I was called back after about an hour, which was very good considering how many people were in line, and the staff apologized for the wait despite the fact they were turning people very quickly. The doctor and nurses were incredible - friendly, professional, quick. I was extremely impressed.

Very disappointed in the consideration or humanity, outside of the very kind lady at the front desk of family medicine. I go to west main but needed an earlier appointment because of the problems I'm having so I scheduled at portage. I've never been here so I parked wrong, behind the loading docks, and ending up walking around to other entrances until I finally it walked through it on the phone lby the helpful lady at the front desk. In the end of my confusion on getting in the building it took exactly 10 minutes and they refused to see me. This appointment was very important to me as I've been having so much pain, though I was here but in the wrong place, and though no onw else was in the office, I also explained and pleaded bit there was no consideration or mercy whatsoever so they refused me. They said I could try immesiatecare but that wait was over 4 hours I found out. Very disappointed and will never be back to this office. I have never experienced problems at west main, ever.
