I've been to many Drs offices and this one is definitely among the worst. They really like to arbitrarily schedule an appointment and not so much as inform you let alone seek input on if it's a time that works for you. They called and woke me up yesterday at 8 am cancelling an appointment, then today I get a text asking if I was in the lobby. I spoke with NOBODY after they cancelled. When I called the scheduling lady said "that office does this all the time, I will have the office manager call you" yeah that never happened either. It's a circus. I don't know if it's pure incompetence, or if they just have that little respect for others either way this isn't a place you want to deal with. They did some imaging back in JUNE I got ZERO input from the Dr after and here it is DECEMBER still zip. Leaving after the imaging I was handed a script and was told "Dr wants you to take this". I said thats fine but I need to discuss it with him a moment like why, what is it, possible side effects, how is it different than the stuff they already have me on etc, you know important stuff. 6 months later I still haven't taken it because Dr storch is either too lazy or doesn't care to do his job. It's a disgrace this office is UofM affiliated

Had a very large kidney stone removed last tues. was not causing any pain but was referred do to the size. Went did the surgery and I have had many stones and many of these surgery's. Dr Phelps said it was a hard case and may take longer, it didn't. Woke up in a lot of pain which should not have been the case. Get to Friday and I am passing red clots and a lot of pain. No one answers any calls there is not emergency line. Monday comes and I use MyChart, send me for urine sample and it will take 48/72 hours like what! It's now Wednesday and I messaged and they had results but yet I had to contact them. Came back clean yet I am still having issues so sent for ct but have to wait for ins to clear it and then wait for scheduling to contact me. So I have to sit in pain until I am contacted for a simple CT scan. This office seems to have no urgency, especially for somebody who is still in pain a week and a day later When there should be no pain at all

I definitely Do Not recommend ANYONE consider becoming a patient here. My insurance company was billed $300 for a 5 minute annual prostate exam then turned my account into a collection agency.

Have had 6 office visits in almost two years, have been exercising great patience and had to stifle my frustration several times, failed to stifle in one phone call, regrettably. We put that behind us and restarted afresh. Dr. Stork told a staff to message me on June 2 that he'd honor my polite request to delay my next office visit til October. The very next day receptionist Trisha called me with the curt message, "Dr. Stork wants to see you." Whoa! I hustled in that same day and guess what! Dr. Stork said he did not issue that message! I thought I was due an explanation, if not an apology, but the doctor hurried on with the appointment, offering neither. I meekly asked Trisha what happened in this situation, she ignored me! I bit my lip and said no more. That evening Dr. Stork called me, said, "I own it" which I took as an apology, then in a friendly way, talked me in to having a biopsy in a few weeks. In THIS conversation he treated me with courtesy and respect. Kinda like a car salesman BEFORE you buy the car. I'm weird...but a little bit of c/r is needed in ANY doctor-patient interaction. In this office, the previous sentence is NONSENSE, they behave as they don't get it. I'm not a guy that relishes battles, arguments and confrontations. I'm embarrassed to report this situation. I've lost many hours of sleep over this office's treatment of me. Recently I thought better of proceeding with a biopsy with UM, and am transferring to another office.

Dr. Phelps is wonderful! She has done a couple of procedures on me to remove kidney stones, and is very kind and professional, as is her staff. They do follow-up X-rays every six months to a year to make sure no new stones are forming, and that puts me at ease.
