Luckily I was able to change cardiologists within this office. The first one I saw was difficult and condescending. Just saw the new one and she was amazing. I have also worked with this office for my parents. The office staff are rude. When my primary care Dr. told me to call with my symptoms. Two of the girls I spoke with actually asked me, "what do you want me to do about it?" I should have said, "your job?" I finally got one to give a message to the nurse. The nurse seemed like the only person who cared until I met my new cardiologist is wonderful. Very happy with this one.

Unfortunately, all the comments about the rude staff members are true. Because I greatly respected my cardiologist I sucked it up and marked to poor human resources hiring. Over 2 years and the office staff is refining their ability to be more rude. Now that my cardiologist has relocated from that group (I'm assuming because of the office staff's rudeness) I am transferring my files so I can avoid ever going back there again. The recommendation to avoid this office is appropriate.

I have never had a more negative experience at any doctors office than I had here. First the date I was scheduled to receive a heart monitor they were all out but failed to tell me until I had already waited an hour at their office. Next after wearing the heart monitor for 14 days I receive a call saying for the past 8 days it wasnt transmitting a signal and instead of calling me when this first happened, as I was told they would, they waited 8 days before informing me. Then while at my follow up appointment they had lost my results, and the doctor decided it would be a good idea to talk negatively about me directly outside my door before coming in and telling me they lost the results. If you can avoid coming here I would strongly recommend you do that.

My father is a long established patient of this practice. He was having some issues that required urgent but not emergent attention. After calling to try and get an appointment, I was told to leave a message for the nurse. After waiting hours and not getting called back, I called again to try and speak to someone. I was connected with another nurse who didn't even ask about his symptoms and abruptly said they never do same day appointments. This was rudely followed with "we don't have permission to discuss his medical records with you". At no point did I inquire about his records. I possess all of his records, all I was requesting was an appointment. I am a healthcare professional who has worked in cardiology for over 15 years. Never have I heard of a cardiology practice that refuses to see patients who are having issues same day or at least an effort made to get in as soon as possible. There was absolutely no care or compassion to the issue at hand and just plain rudeness by the nurse. I would recommend finding better care elsewhere. This is a large practice with multiple physicians, how do you not have a PA or NP available for these kinds of cases?

Didn't even get in the door. The administration from receptionist to scheduling. Tried to schedule a Cardiac CTA. My Cardiologist is in Port Huron, we recently moved. Followed their instructions to the tee. Mind you I'm in the midmichigan system also. Each department wanted to blame the other and wanted me to track everything down the information they already had. Verbal conformation was made two weeks earlier when original FAX was sent. I was talked to as I should change Cardiologist. NO THANK YOU!
