Henry Ford Medical Center - Livonia

I normally don't write reviews but what I experienced today had to be mentioned. I was prescribed a new medication that I would have been able to get from my own pharmacy. However this refill cycle my pharmacy was not able to order them in enough time. So I was calling other pharmacies to see if I can transfer my script and get them filled here. I had called Henry Ford Woodhaven along with other locations and they didn't have them in stock. I asked if any other locations have them in stock. The pharmacy lady said they had them at Henry Ford Livonia and she could transfer me. Once transferred, I believe I spoke to two people one of them being Victoria. One of them confirmed they have my medication in stock but only for their patients they see there. Which I found weird because Henry Ford is state wide! Regardless of where I am treated I am allowed to use any in-network Henry Ford pharmacy. If I am wrong I will happily delete that prior statement. Overall, if you wanted to get transferred into this pharmacy I would highly avoid them!!!

Dr. Patrice Scales is a phenomenal doctor. She normally works at the Northwest location but I saw her at Livonia today. She always takes my concerns seriously and takes the time to talk to me about my options. Give her a raise immediately.

I am a patient of Dr Milliean from NW office relocated to Livonia for time being. The staff and Dr are spot on with respect of the ones they serve and listening skills! Thanks NW HF team located at the Livonia clinic site rating is 12 out of 10.

I had an appointment scheduled and they canceled it and tried to reschedule with a new dr. I declined and asked for a new appointment. They pushed it back a month with a new dr anyways. I wasted time off from work for this? Horrible service.

I am a new patient at Henry Ford Medical Center in Livonia, and I would like to bring a concern to your attention regarding my recent experience at the front desk. During my first appointment, I signed in at my doctor's office, which was a smooth process. However, for my second appointment, I was directed to sign in downstairs at the front desk. When I approached the desk as instructed, a staff member called me over to sign in. Unfortunately, her behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate for a front desk representative. She displayed a poor attitude and demeanor that made me feel uncomfortable, as if she was dealing with personal issues while interacting with patients. Regrettably, I did not take note of her name; otherwise, I would have reported this matter directly to her supervisor. I strongly believe that staff at the front desk should exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and respect when dealing with patients. Individuals who fail to do so should not be placed in roles that require direct patient interaction. Additionally, I would prefer to sign in at my doctor's office rather than at a front desk where conversations can be overheard by anyone passing by. I kindly request that this concern be addressed to ensure a more positive and professional experience for patients.
