Dr. Sood is one of my best doctors he explains everything clearly answers your questions before you can ask them. He makes you feel so comfortable that he actually is part of your team. My one star is his staff and office. If you call in for a question plan to spend at least 25 plus minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone. Staff was supposed to order fasting blood work called me to make sure I had it before My appointment on 12/5. Went to lab on 12/1 fasting and they had no record of orders. Luckily my family doctor had also requested one. Showed up to my appointment on 12/5 ten minutes before my allotted time. A man showed up 2 hours after his appointment time and they let him go before me. I told both Dr. Sood and his nurse my new pharmacy and to please send all prescriptions there. They did not send to requested pharmacy. I am still missing a prescription I have emailed numerous times tired to call a week later I still do not have on of my prescription. I did speak to nurse she told me she sent it to Meijer than corrected herself after I said no Walgreens. Anyway beacon heart center has a lot of work to do with staffing. Finally I got an extra prescription and wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. There was no clear answer. If you have a option not sure Beacon is the right place
