After having a horrible experience with another cardiologist several months ago, i received a referral to see Dr. Fermin. He is highly credentialed in many types of cardiac care and intervention both from a clinical and research standpoint. I have a difficult time finding words to describe the difference in my two experiences! Night and day is a start. Dr. Fermin spent an hour with me, evaluating my condition, going over test results, reviewing treatment options, next steps, etc., etc. He listened, explained, listened some more, explained more, all in a clear, concise, understandable, and positive way. I left with a solid understanding of what I'm dealing with and what's going to be done about it. Totally different from my previous appointment with the other cardiologist. The last cardiologist spent all of 5 or so minutes with me, while giving me the distinct impression that he had better places to be and better things to do. If you are or at some point will need to seek the services of a cardiologist, Dr. Fermin should be at the top of your list.
