Today I had a cardioversion performed at Corewell Health Butterworth Campus. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am for the Cardiology team performing the procedure with such kindness, professionalism, and expertise. To be honest, I was very anxious about the procedure and didn't really want to have it done. Doctors Vredeberg and Smart, and nurse practitioner Michelle, nurse Shawna (6 north), and nurse Olivia (6 north) all inspired me with such confidence that I finally agreed to the procedure. I am so appreciative that I was encouraged to go through with the procedure because I came out of it a new person--with a normal sinus rhythm instead of severe atrial fibrillation. Doctor Key and nurse Mackenzie performed the procedure. I did not catch the names of the rest of the team, but they were all tremendous. I literally owe these people my life--and I am sure many other people do as well. If you ever need Cardiology Services never hesitate to choose Corewell Health. 10 stars!!!
As a new parent, I'm pretty disappointed that there are not any family bathrooms or changing tables for our infant. Also there are not any vending machines for long waits between appointments.
I am a pacemaker patient who recently had surgery to replace my pacemaker battery this past week. I want to tell you that the 2 employees who are running the call in device clinic are rude and demeaning to the patients calling into them for help. Twice now both of them Heidi and Mellany have been beyond rude and condescending to me on the phone. I'm calling in because I need help! I don't appreciate their rudeness telling me I'm calling them to much when I need help and don't hear back from them within a reasonable time I am going to call them again and I should not be berated by them nor should any patient calling in for help. It is unacceptable and uncalled for to say the least. Something needs to be addressed with them!
