7 years her patient. 6 of those I have been fighting horrible joint pain and swelling flare ups. I go to her and ask for help and she tells me to go on a Mediterranean diet and watch Forks over Knives. I end up going to urgent care and get the help I need. So many of my visits she is all over the board trying to get me to do all these tests I don't need. I leave very confused and disappointed. Recently I had a knee injury. As she was not in the office I was able to be seen by another doctor in the office. I was very pleased with his work. The next day I get a call that dr. Oravitan wants me in for a follow up right away. I go in and she's pressing me to get several different chest xrays, blood work I don't need. Ultrasounds on my arms and calves, asking about pap smears and mammograms. I'M THERE FOR MY KNEE! I repeatedly say no to all the tests. She keeps pressuring me till I finally say yes just so I can get out of there and to an Orthopedist. Later I call the office about transferring to the other doctor I had seen. They say both doctors need to approve. The one doctor aporoves, dr.oravitan wants to speak with me first. We speak on the phone and she asks me questions. I try to answer and she cuts me off and her voice is raising and her tone is raising. This continues through the whole conversation. She then accuses me of going behind her back. I have never switched doctors before. I don't know how this is done. I thought contacting the office was the appropriate way to do this. In the end she says it's my choice and my RIGHT to get another doctor. Two days after I make an appointment with my new doctor I receive a call telling me dr. Oravitan has now said I can't switch doctors and would I like to schedule an appointment with her. HELL NO! I will be getting a good doctor in a different office!

Dr. Oravitan cares about her patients more than any Dr. I've had. She is responsive to questions/concerns outside of visits. She is down to earth and brilliant. My health and overall well-being are in good hands. A+

Stay as far away from this doctor as you can! This doctor is neglectful to her patients. She pushes referral after referral. Even when you decline, within a few days you are recieving phone calls from all those doctors stating Dr Orivitan referred you and they try to schedule appointments. I guess she wasn't listening when you turned down the referral. Maybe because her nose is buried in her computer during the entire visit! Good luck getting your prescription renewed when you are out of refills. You may get it renewed after you have already ran out of medication. The nurse will eventually call you to ask how much your dosage is. Which you would think should be in your records. There is much more I could say and none of it good. I dont think she deserves the one star I gave but zero stars was not an option.

She is a horrible doctor. She pays no attention to you while in the exam room. She will be messing on her computer and ask the same question 3-4x. She doesn't take your symptoms seriously and frequently blows you off. She is rarely in the office and very hard to reach when needed. Her lack of attention nearly killed my mom and very well still might as she is still very sick and not right ever since. She has since switched doctors and he has done more in the last 3 weeks than this doctor in 2 of the last 5 years. She needs to become a doctor who cares and treats or find another profession, these are peoples lives.

Dr Oravitan is a good internist doctor (both my husband and I are patients). She is thorough and listens when we have questions or concerns. Her staff is also very good
