Premier Medical Cardiology Clinics

Dr. Raj is a wonderful Cardiologist. He listens, explains everything in great detail, and is always straightforward. I am thankful that I have had him as my Cardiologist for nearly 8 years. Recently, he has needed to take medical leave due to a health issue. It was told to me that it could be a long-term medical leave, and if I chose to do so, I could wait to see if he will be returning, stay on the waiting list, or find a new doctor. I will now look for another doctor. I want to thank Dr. Raj for being the best Cardiologist.

RUDEST receptionist EVER! Definitely not the kind of person who should be the first point of contact at a cardiology office. I brought my mom in to go over her test results, and the doctor said she has significant plaque buildup in her carotid arteries and elsewhere. We were told someone would call to schedule a heart cath. After waiting three days with no call, I followed up myself. The receptionist was extremely rude. When I asked about scheduling, she abruptly told me to "call back at the end of next week." I was shocked and repeated, "The end of next week?" She said, "Yes, it's not an emergency." I told her she doesn't get to decide what's an emergency -- especially without the heart cath being done yet. And she HUNG UP on me. Absolutely unacceptable. Patients deserve better care and basic respect, especially when dealing with heart issues. Also Dr. Raj has been on medical leave for five months -- and no one ever mentioned this to us either. They have no idea how long he'll be gone. We'll be finding a new cardiologist.

Mother needed a medical clearance for cataract surgery-paperwork provided over week in advance to office-not completed. Went to PMC office waited two hours to get document- ended up leaving and rescheduling surgery due to inability to get resolved. Overall poor encounters in a year of receiving services- no call backs, lack of coordination, rude staff, dirty office....I would find a different provider-there is better. I had open heart surgery. I could not get a follow-up appointment with a cardiologist after 30 days post-surgery. I had to find a cardiologist from a different practice. The explanation was they were having organizational challenges that exceeded their ability to manage patients. Comforting. Let your insurance company know to protect yourself against delayed treatment and being made the responsible party because of events like these.

Receptionist was very rude Don't let people talk and ask about their bills and already had bills paid. They tell you to pay it again instead of transferring you over to the billing department receptionist was very rude with a high attitude. Don't recommend calling the receptionist. Do your job and quit if you're that miserable. Billing dept lady was nice I'll give her a 5 star!
