I appreciate Dr Lutz upbeat personality and very caring pleasant bedside manner. I also feel heard. He made sure I understood my diagnosis. I asked many questions. I never felt rushed and he answered all of them completely. I would highly recommend him and his absolutely wonderful office staff!!
Dr Lutz, cannot connect properly with patients and has poor communication skills, poor listening skills, lacks proper eye contact and displays no emotions. This appointment was a waste of my time. The medical assistant got my height wrong, she also had severe upper respiratory symptoms where she had a rolling cough, sniffling severely, sneezing and didn't clean her hands at all. In fact the doctor didn't even use hand sanitizer. The medical assistant should have worn a mask or should not have been at work dealing with patients. This doctor had the nerve to put in my record that I was agitated. I was annoyed because the medical assistant who appeared sick should have taken proper steps to prevent the spread of her germs plus throughout the appointment Dr. Lutz's eyebrows were frowning. I guess as a patient I cannot feel annoyed but the office people and doctor can display rudeness. I cannot leave feedback online because the link is broken.
When I first moved my 92 year old mother up here from a medically underserved area of Ohio, Dr. Lutz was far superior to any cardiologist she'd seen. After a rocky first year of 3 hospitalizations (to correct the damage done in Ohio), Dr Lutz had her in very good shape for the next 4 years. However, as she has gotten older and her health issues have become more complicated, it seems that we reached the limits of Dr. Lutz's expertise. We've switched to a cardiology group affiliated with the Ford system and are very pleased.
