I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother, Mary Vartanian, who was seen on October 21st for a quadruple bypass performed by Dr. Nemeh. We are both absolutely amazed by the care and attention she received from Dr. Nemeh and his entire team. This was done in HF Detroit location. From the start, the experience was exceptional. The ICU nurses were outstanding, particularly two gentlemen who cared for her on the 22nd during the day. They were both incredibly accommodating, ensuring my mother's comfort at every moment. One of them was in training, but you would have never known it from his professionalism and compassion. Afterward, my mom was transferred to the intermediate care unit on the 6th floor (room I611), where she was truly treated like family. I want to especially recognize Jake, Mario, and Maryian each of them went above and beyond. They were never rushed, always attentive, and consistently made sure my mom was comfortable and cared for. Their kindness and friendly demeanor made such a difference during her recovery. My mom also asked that I mention Sarah, who worked the night shift while I wasn't there. She, too, provided exceptional care and made my mom feel safe and well looked after. Lastly, we want to give special recognition to Nicole, the Nurse Assistant. She was the best NA my mom said she was the best NA during her staff. Nicole should be the one training other NA on how to provide compassionate and thorough care! My mother has had many hospital stays over the years, but this experience far exceeded all others. We want to sincerely thank Dr. Nemeh and the entire team from the bottom of our hearts for the exceptional care provided to my mother during her stay.

I came to see Dr. Nemeh after a failed mitral valve repair only one year prior at a different hospital to get a second opinion on what went wrong. I had made up my mind to stay with my original surgeon as I felt that was the smartest decision. That all changed when I sat with Dr. Nemeh. The only way I can describe how I felt after sitting with him for over an hour going over my images and plans for future intervention, was as if God had guided me to his office and meeting him was my fate. I had been mistakenly told that Dr. Nemeh wouldn't be able to operate on me since someone else performed my original surgery, and I was content with that only to get his opinion. But after that day, I felt an immense compassion and reassurance from him that I would be taken care of. He reassured me that he could and would perform my surgery should I choose to come to Henry Ford Hospital, and that was the best decision I made. He saved my life. He had been recommended to me by several doctors, but nothing matched what it was like to really be under his care. He is so humble, so kind, so compassionate, and just so amazing at everything to do with the heart. During my stay at the hospital he came to reassure me that I was doing great. After surgery I had so many fears because of what had happened after my first surgery, and he responded to every concern with gentle reassurance. You only have to google his name to come across all his accolades, and to see all that and know that he still took the time out of his day to address all my concerns, makes me tear up. I will forever pray for him. He saved my life and helped give me the strength to get through one of the hardest times of my life, and I am forever grateful. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.

Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Nemeh for saving my sister's life. This was her second heart surgery; the first procedure, performed by another surgeon, unfortunately didn't work as intended. Dr. Nemeh not only repaired her heart but also corrected the previous issues with unparalleled skill and precision. What truly set him apart was the care and compassion he showed throughout the entire process. My parents, who live outside the country and didn't know anything about his reputation, felt completely at ease with him. Despite the distance and unfamiliarity, Dr. Nemeh's approach reassured them deeply. He treated my sister like she was a member of his own family, making this case incredibly personal to him. We could feel his genuine concern, which meant the world to us. Dr. Nemeh took the time to explain everything in detail, breaking down the procedure and ensuring we fully understood what was happening. His ability to communicate so clearly and his dedication to easing our worries truly stood out. He didn't just operate; he cared--deeply. Thank you, Dr. Nemeh, for your exceptional expertise and for giving my sister another chance at life. You are a true gift to your profession.

Almost 1 year out and feel like I was truly blessed by having him as my surgeon. Just like he said in his video, he brought me back to my family and loving life. A job well done!

I have no words to describe my appreciation for Dr. Nemeh. Outside of being an absolutely brilliant surgeon, he is understanding and considerate of his patient's and their families. Having heart surgery completed on one of your loved ones is an experience I hope no one has to go through, however if you do see Dr. Nemeh-he saved my father's life and I am forever indebted.
