On 9/22/2020 Dr. Azoury preformed a quadruple bypass on me at Port Huron McLaren Hospital. He is a highly skilled surgeon, caring and exact in his professional care. He has two nurse practitioners that are available 24/7 to take calls and questions from the patients regarding their care, meds, etc. They never made me feel that my calls were a waste of their time. This is extremely helpful to patients who are going through this scary time in their life. Dr. Azoury never made me feel that I wasn't in good hands. From the time i meet Dr. Azoury i knew i was in good hands. He was patient and explained everything that they were going to do. As i went to other doctors for tests they would ask who my surgeon was and they would tell me he is the best. He crosses his Ts and dots his Is before he ever walks into the surgery room. What can one say about the Dr. who quite literally holds your life (heart) in his hands? Dr. Azoury is a consummate professional. He is confidence inspiring and has a great bedside manner. This patient found his humor to be dry, but warm. His kindness is overwhelming and his caring unsurpassed. He and his team provided the least invasive 4x CABG possible. Dr. Azoury saved my life on Halloween 2022 when he had to perform an emergency Quintuple Bypass. I will be forever grateful to him. Thanks to his expertise and knowledge, I am still alive and recovering great. He is such a kind, caring man who is so gifted at what he does. He made sure that I knew exactly what to expect and answered all of my questions. My cardiologist recommended Dr. Azoury to replace my aortic valve . I met with him and he was very nice didn't rush me out of his office he took whatever time was needed to let me know all that would be done and what the best plan would be for me. He answered all my questions that I had and my brothers also. He is so easy to talk to and explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend Dr. Azoury to anyone that needed a Heart Surgeon.
