Randy Lieberman explained everything in layman's terms which made it very clear, and we were impressed. He also gave us his cell number, which was also impressive. That's where his impressiveness ends. It's very clear now, he was selling himself and his bill of goods. He wouldn't return our calls to his cell and neither did the staff from his office. We ended up in emergency mode and I sent him an agressive text and only then did he reply. My husband got his defibrillator put in 6 weeks ago. He had to get 1 LITRE of blood removed from around his heart 3 weeks ago......and then yesterday had to get his defibrillator moved because the leads were leaking AGAIN. The defibrillator had moved under his arm pit which is horrible placement and totally uncomfortable. Randy advised us that my husband should be moving his arm as much as possible, including over his head so he wouldn't get frozen shoulder. NO don't do that, that's probably what made the unit move. No putting your arm above your head or lifting anything over 5-10 pounds for 4-6 weeks! OMG.....sorry to be dramatic but this has been an extremely long journey because there have been other issues along the way. Apparently, Randy is not up to date on the latest procedures and some staff commented that they are fixing his mistakes all the time. Shame on you Randy! Shame on the medical community for allowing him to continue inserting this vital product in this manner! :(

Dr Lieberman although he may be a good doctor he is terrible at communication. He and his office never return calls or messages. He gives out his personal number to call him anytime but then never returns calls. My mom has serious heart issues and after several attempts to reach him she ended up having to find a new cardiologist to care for her. He simply stopped caring for her. His office never gives him messages. They simply say call his cell phone. When attempting to get her records transferred to the new doctor it was impossible to get a response from him or his office. He came highly recommended but due to his lack of professionalism, and poorly run office I would not recommend him to care for any member of my family.

I REALLY hope his TOTAL lack of communication is not a reflection of his abilities as a surgeon, seeing that he is my mother's only option for a pacemaker, & he was recommended by her cardiologist. I talked to him ONCE; he lied & said someone called...nobody had. He then said "Mary" would call...she never did. 2nd call, I got his voicemail. 3rd attempt, I called his Detroit office; no answer, nobody picked up the phone. So, we'll see if Mom's cardiologist can get in touch with him...not looking too positive for you, Dr.

Patient

He made a great first impression at my initial appointment after that it was down hill. No follow through on your labs or testing, always promised a call regarding them but no one calls, Terrible communication. Gives out his personal cell number but doesn't listen to what you have to say and rushes you off the phone or just doesn't answer or return your calls. The front staff is great but I wouldn't recommend this place

Dr. Leiberman takes his time with you and fully explained the procedure. He made sure the nurse came outvto.my home as a follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Leiberman for both as a cardiologist and treatment for hypertension.
