Dr. Elias H. Kassab, MD DBA Dearborn Cardiology

If you care about your life, don't go to this man. I went to him a couple of months ago because I was having chest pains. He said my chest pains are due to muscular skeletal issues because I have two dislocated discs in my neck and he gave his diagnosis within 5 minutes saying that due to my discs extra pressure is being put on my rib cage. He suggested physical therapy. He didn't bother to do any tests because I am 33 years old, active and otherwise "healthy." He was wrong. Couple weeks later, I fainted. Got rushed to Beaumont Royal Oak Hospital and had an ICD placed in and got diagnosed with Sarcoidosis which was ultimately affecting my heart. I am forever grateful for Dr. Salim Ahmed at Beaumont. He saved my life. Kassab did not.

Staff is very slow. Patient time is also precious. I'm not sure if they need to hire more staff. I had to wait over a hour and a half for a Holter monitor That only took 5 to 7 minutes to explain it and place it on my chest.

Dr Kassab is by far the most tremendous human being. He has excellent bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable ! He took his time and explained everything to me not to mention his staff is amazing as well! Highly recommend him

I cannot say enough about this practice and Dr Kassab. I would highly recommend him. We waited for him a little more than normal in the office, but once he got with us, he spent quite a bit of time educating us on everything we could do to have good heart health. He also went out of his way to pull up scans from our corwell procedure and explained the scans to us as we had had the surgery with another doctor, and this was our second opinion Everyone in the practice was wonderful!
