Took to my Father to see Dr Mattichak at the Clare office of Dr Mienk. He was to have an Echocardiogram. The office did not bother to call to tell us that the mobile Echocardiogram did not show up due to inclement weather. Told the Dr that Dad was having breathing difficulties, so he said that he wanted him to have an Echocardiogram and CT Scan at Clare Hospital. Took over a week for his office to schedule the CT Scan. They didn't schedule the Echo because they thought that he had it done at the mobile. So it was scheduled for the next week. Note that after multiple messages were left to find out when both tests would be scheduled, with no return call, I called the insurance company to find out if they had received a request for approval from the Dr. They called the Dr. and also had to leave a message. Now that the tests have been completed, we are still waiting for the results. He had the CT 2 weeks ago, and the Echo 1 week ago. Called the Doctors office and left a message. No return call. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone.
