Madhavi Manchikalapati, MD

I have been under the care of Dr. Manchikalapati for ten years. She has been very caring, informative, helpful with all my concerns and treatment. I consider her to be a fine doctor and hopefully won't lose her to any changes in insurance coverage. A definite 5 star professional!!

I went for a physical about 4 months after booking because her schedule was so full. After she asked me what my health issues were, I was telling her and suddenly she stopped me and said "I only have 40 minutes to do your visit including putting info in the computer so I can only attend to 3-4 health issues so if you want to discuss further issues you need to book other appointment" I was in shock! To hear a Doctor who has been my doctor for nearly 6 years?! Finally she was with me for nearly 20 minutes and sent me away. I would not recommend her to anyone. The same issues I had the first time I saw her 6 years ago, are the same issues I have now. She hasn't helped one bit! Totally changing doctors! Rude, only interested in getting paid, not in patients or their well being.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Manchi and her team. I hate going to the Dr.s, I avoid it the best I can. Any concerns I brought up they tried hardest to help me and if they could not they found a way to out source me with help. They are so respectful and make sure you feel comfortable and heard. I was having a health issue one day and I called and spoke with someone in the front desk, not only did she do research for me she had the NP follow up with me. They are incredible!

I actually could not feel more comfortable with a doctor, as someone with depression and ptsd she makes me feel intensely safe and heard and allows me to express myself and doesnt rush me, i feel really lucky to have her as my doctor. she's so nice and i don't mind going to the doctors anymore.

Horrible, just horrible, not to mention rude, really a blemish on UMASS's reputation
