Super rude employees! Got a call to arrive 15 mins earlier than my scheduled appointment for an ultrasound because they had a schedule conflict, so I did. I went to sign in at the front and I thought someone at the desk said something to me so I politely asked I'm sorry did you say something to me? And she, with a snarky attitude, said I didn't say anything that wasn't even me talking and the other person wasn't talking to you either. I said ok sorry I can't hear well I thought you asked me what my last name is. I was walking away and not 1 second later a guy who was also behind the desk chimed in and said no one was talking to you. First of all he wasn't involved in any of the conversations I just had and second of all it was over and done with, at that point why say anything?? So freaking rude!! I sat down in the waiting room and the woman who I previously spoke to called my name and said, now I'm talking to you. I responded by saying sorry I couldn't hear much through the glass. I have not had good hearing since I was a kid and they have no clue if someone is hearing impaired or not and that's so disgusting on their part for mocking someone for it. She had a nasty attitude the whole check-in process! She asked what time my appointment was and I said 3:15 but they asked me to come earlier. The guy who previously thought it was ok to open his mouth butted into the conversation and said she was supposed to be here at 2:45. My appointment was at 3:15 and they asked me to come 15 minutes early... how does that make any sense? I expressed that and she said no you're original appointment was supposed to be at 3:00.... Okay so I'm lying to you? The person I scheduled the appointment with over the phone told me 3:15. Maybe they should pay attention to what they're doing when scheduling and also not be so freaking rude to people. Other than the nasty staff at the front, my ultrasound tech Vanessa was amazing. I was super nervous because of the results and I was trying to play it off but she could tell I was uneasy and was so nice and it made me feel so much more calm. If you can request seeing her I totally recommend to.

Emerson Health Westford Lab and MRI. I scheduled a MRI scan on 5/13 at 4:10 om and I arrived at the office around 3:40 pm. And I didn't leave the place until almost 6 pm. And the scan took 20 minutes. The wait was long but as least the lady at the front desk was up front and let me know the appointments sere running late and she was apologetic about the wait. However I was not complaining about that. THIS MORNING, I walked in because I planned to have my blood work done before my doctor's appointment. I started fasting around 7:30 pm last night. I arrived at the office at 10 am and put down my name and I knew that all lab works do not have appointment scheduled in advance. I waited until 30 minutes and no one had said anything and my stomach was hurting so I asked a woman who was working at the front desk. She first told me that I had to wait for the people who scheduled the appointments in advance to be done before I could register so I have to wait longer because they were still registering others. And I told her since I could not wait due to my stomachache, and she told me I could leave. As I was leaving, there was a woman who claimed she was working at the lab and she even said waiting for 30 minutes was not long, sometime people had to wait for TWO HOURS. She seemed so proud of that to make patients wait for 2 hours. Then I had nothing to say so I left. I called my doctor office and found out another location to have my blood work done and the closest was Groton so I went there. It was about 1:15 pm I arrived and I left before 1:45 pm. The ladies who worked there were efficient and kind. What a difference!!! From now on, I will stay away from the Westford office!!!!!!

I called to ask if they were accepting new patients, and the receptionist was rude. It left a really bad first impression. If this is how they treat potential patients, I can't imagine the experience getting any better. I'll be looking elsewhere.

This review is specifically about the "lab" here. Honestly it is catastrophically bad. Chronic understaffing and generalized confusion in the part of patients and the staff lead to very frequent congestion and delays that will measure in the hours. All to get 5 minutes of a blood pull done. It's so insane it is almost unexplainable. I am sure the staff is trying but the real blame lies with some Emerson executive somewhere penny pinching at the cost of all of our time and energy. I also find this generally happening throughout their network particularly also at the hospital in concord. Something is amiss with this entire organization.
