Mahmood Rana, MD

Dr. Rana takes the time to care for his patients, as he has treated both myself and my father with various health issues over the years. At the same time, he listens if you have knowledge about a particular situation, and shows a humility towards patients that shows that they are valued when they walk into the office.

He is awesome and nice. Listens and is always on time. I have all faith in this doctor to treat me. Bed side manor is great and comfortable.

To put it nicely, I am far from satisfied. I have had an ongoing issue for about 6 months. I believe Dr. Rana has misdiagnosed the issue. He has repeatedly tried to get me to try a remedy that I've already tried and has failed horribly, infact made the issue worse. He doesn't seem to remember that it's been tried already. He referred me to a specialist, who preformed an operation to help the issue. Dr. Rana and his "team" seem to have forgotten about that and not put that information in my file. Now they are trying to tell me that I never saw the specialist and that he never preformed the operation. Dr. Rana told me I need a memory test also, memory issues have nothing to do with the issue that has been going on for 6 months now, my memory is fune. He is doing nothing to solve the existing issue. He does NOT listen to his patients and does not remember anything from one visit to the next. I really think he needs a memory test. Truly the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a doctor or a practice, "emerald physicians". Emerald physicians just sold to Cape Cod Healthcare. I would not refer my worse enemy to use them.

Very good Doctor who spends time with you examining physical and emotional needs. He will always work with you to find natural remedies before prescribing meds.

He is a very good overall doctor.
