The Atrius Health Somerville practice has been caring for residents of Somerville, Arlington, Cambridge, Belmont, Medford, Malden, and other nearby cities and towns since 1990. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Davis Square, next to the MBTA station Holland Street exit (Red Line).
Our Somerville practice provides primary care for adults and children and a wide range of medical and surgical specialty care. This practice is lacking any acceptable responsiveness. Doctors take well over two days to approve something simple as medication refills even when confirming that it would take only 24 to 48 hours for approval. Also when I had a major medical scare about 12 years back, my primary physician could not diagnose my pulmonary embolism for good 6 days even though I was telling her all the symptoms of it for days. This is just not a good practice for getting medical advice or medication refills. They are just lacking in patient care and responsiveness.

Come here if you want to be treated nasty by the secretary at mammography. Rude, apathetic front desk secretary. Thirteen minutes late(within their office policy) and she spoke to us like children. There's many other places to get your imaging needs taking care of. You come here in the first place because you are trying to ascertain there's no condition or anything that can progress or worsen, you don't need someone making it your uneasiness worst.

A few weeks back i was on time for my eye appointment but had to wait in line for 15 minutes to check in because the staff kept chatting casually with a patient. Then when it's finally my turn, she rudely says "You're late" and has a very bad attitude and acts like I ruined her day . She caused me to miss my appointment.

Cancelled our appointment when we were 13 mins late because of traffic. They themselves said their policy was 20 mins before canceling. Zero explanation as to why they cancelled after only 13 mins, but they made our sick child wait nearly two hours before being seen. Absolutely do not recommend. Staff are extremely rude and unhelpful.
