Was here for about 10 years. Misdiagnosed so many things. Dismissed symptoms. Knowledge is nil. Seems to attract those that want a check list of common disorders and if you don't fit in the box you are SOL. With the "streamlining" from Mass General it's even worse.

Been going there since my teens. Love Dr. Schoonmaker! Clean & neat. Friendly staff & pleobmostist!

A total waste of time. Didn't tell me I had to check in AFTER checking in electronically. Sat and waited. Staff saw that I was waiting...did nothing. Finally I went downstairs to ask what was going on. Was told I missed my appointment.

Absolutely useless. I have been going here for over 20+ yrs. I'm getting really sick of them not being able to help. I ask for a script refill (10 pills) and it literally takes 4 weeks to get it called in. Also, as I recall visits should be annually , every-time i refill 10 pills they want me in for an appointment, I swear it just so they can bill me/insurance. I know this is not procedure. I do not know how they get away with it. Definitely time to find another healthcare provider. They have been absolutely useless for over 15 yrs. I have a history of kidney and uti's, sometimes they argue with me about getting an antibiotic so I can feel better. They tell me the test came back negative, only to call me 48 hrs later and say the lab said it was positive, while I continue to suffer those 48 hrs after suffering a few days, then they call me in the weakest antibiotic, when they know my body needs a strong specific one. Unbelievable. I will be looking for another primary care. I have had enough of this.

Newburyport sucks. If you're going for allergy testing, better not be a minute late because the woman will tell you she can't take you. I'm a teacher and drove an hour to get to this appointment as fast as I could just for them to tell me they can't take me because I was 15 minutes late. I work with kids all day and then have to deal with adults like this that are worse than children. What happened to people being accommodating and what kind of business are you running? People like me are out here teaching your kids all day and this is the thanks we get! Thanks for nothing Pentucket Medical. Worst doctors office I've ever dealt with.
