Urgent Care Leominster

This place is an absolute scam. My husband and I were seen here with flu like symptoms. Not only did we spend 3 hours here for simple covid/flu testing- we received bills for collectively over a thousand dollars in addition to our normal co pay. I spent over an hour on the phone yesterday with my insurance agent and the billing department of this urgent care trying to figure out how a visit for a cold turned into this. Turns out they billed as outpatient hospital visits- at umass memorial. Which is not where we went. We paid a premium for the practitioner we saw for "their time" and the rooms we were seen in were allegedly "shared" with the hospital. Therefore we were charged for a hospital visit even though we were seen at an urgent care. There was no resolution and I am stuck with the bill. Beware to anyone being seen here and told they will just be billed their co pay. This place takes advantage of sick people and it has unethical business practices.

I went to the office to discuss an issue I was having on 10/2/25. The front desk young lady and the med tech who checked me in were friendly and efficient. I spoke with someone, not sure of their title, who told me that my issue was likely caused by using sensitive teeth toothpaste. I work in the dental field and have never heard of this or experienced it. When she was done she got up and I did as well to follow her out, she said no that she would be right back with a script.I waited. And waited. All the patients that came to the back after me had left. After 25 minutes of waiting I got up and went to the front. There was no one at the desk. There was another tech doing supplies toward the back. Finally after standing there for five minutes she came and addressed me. I said I had been seen, had waited for at least 25 minutes in a room and just wanted to know if I needed to pay anything and if my script had been sent. It took another 5 minutes for her to speak to the staff on the side when a women with light hair whom I had not seen the whole time, stuck her head out the door and said it was all taken care of. So unprofessional. And the kicker, my pharmacy never received my script. A very frustrating experience except for the first two initial people. I will pay out of pocket before I will go back.

My recommendation: Find a better urgent care facility. I had to go twice in 3 days because the provider didn't drain a painful cyst the first time and told me to try antibiotics (not standard of care, but they refuse to admit that following my complaints). Now I have two bills from UMass, each over $500.

Criminal Overcharging with no itemization. A 5 minute hydrogen peroxide flush for my ears was almost $1000. You're literally better off just dealing with the issue yourself. Do not go here under any circumstance.

Very disappointed. No questions were asked about my symptoms from the practitioner. She sent me home with dangerously high BP. That evening, I ended up in ER. Gross incompetence. Negative rating.
