Pentucket Medical Haverhill/Primrose Adult Primary Care

I was a patient here from 2010 to 2014. I had to switch doctors here three times because they kept leaving the practice. I had an abdominal CT scan at their urgent care center in Lawrence for severe stomach pain. Apparently the CT scan picked up a mass in the lower part of my lung, and they never told me. About six months later, and a week before a scheduled physical they called to tell me my doctor had quit. They rescheduled me for another month later with a new doctor. That new doctor asked me how my visit went with the pulmonary specialist. My look of confusion led him to realize I had no idea there was a huge mass in my lung. I went straight to a specialist at Brigham and Women's and had the mass surgically removed within a month. Before my next physical following the following year I was informed that my doctor had quit. On to doctor #3. I saw this new doctor and he was great, but within a year he had quit as well. I liked him so much I followed him to his new practice. No more Pentucket Medical for me. My daughter still sees a pediatrician here. Same doctor for nine years. The day before her physical this past January I get a message saying that he doctor is sick and has to reschedule. I called back a few days later and was told that her doctor was retiring and they didn't have any doctors available for over two months. The communication at this place is terrible, and there seems to be a revolving door of doctors. Possibly a sign of poor management and support for staff. There's always a wait even when you show up on time or early. I'd look into other places before you go here. I did it for convenience, but the poor service doesn't make it worth it.

PMA has a great staff. From the girls out front when you check in to the nursing staff & doctors. Everyone is pleasant and they all make me feel like I'm top priority when I go in. Never feel rushed & the doctors take their time explaining everything. I highly recommend them. I moved 50 minutes away but refuse to switch doctors. Dr. Brennan, I would give more stars if they had them.

I go to the bridge clinic once or twice a month. The staff are amazing and your treated like family once you enter. They even have a fridge with juices and snacks and even kcup coffee. Never nervous when I come here. Awesome clinic

Overall care has been very good. Lab, radiology, and mammography have always been timely. Katelin Cashman, PA has been wonderful. She listens to the patient, offers options, takes her time during her appointments, and truly makes the patient feel as though they are a priority. As a Healthcare provider, I know first hand how this is not always the case. Thus far I am very happy with the care I receive.

Awful. Made an appointment for a physical a year in advance and received a letter of confirmation days prior. They did not specify my primary care was now located at a new building and I had to leave one Haverhill office to drive to another. Made my appointment time within the 20 minute mark and waited to be seen for over an hour. I asked the receptionist for an explanation and she claimed she didn't know. However, after the hour and a half I asked again, and she claimed I had to wait until every patient within the session was seen. Doctors here take on way too many patients! Also, how did one doctor see five different patients in an hour and a half! AND there are no available pulmonology appointments until March and it's December, great thanks for waisting my day Pentucket Medical. Get a primary care somewhere else, unless you have nothing better to do than sit in their waiting room and listen to the receptionists gossip about other patients! NO STARS! I had a pediatrician through Pentucket Medical for over 10 years and this is how I am treated as an adult? Not going to happen.
