My primary care doctor told me I needed to see a cardiologist. So I went to Dr. Pigeon. He asked me, "How are you"? I answered, "I'm fine." His response: "Then what are you doing here?" He was serious. I'm not kidding.

Patient

★★

absolutely lacks because manner and professionalism. seems to not care about providing patients with resources they and their families need to stay well. was a fight to get him to fill out FMLA paperwork when he is the last dr needed to do so. ridiculous and entitled.

I was very impressed with Dr. Pigeon. I could tell he was going to get me on the right road to health. He has a suddle sence of humor and it helps when your trying to relax. This is a good doctor people get him while you can.

He has prescribed my mother in law xarelto for her AF at 86 years old, unfortunately he did not do his homework and unfortunately she had a GI bleed with a hemoglobin of 6.9. She needed to be transfused to two units of PC after admission to the hospital. Elquis at 2.5 mg twice daily would be the better alternative for 65 and older. But that is what you get when you have a cardiologist who was a podiatrist first before medical school. I have recommended to my mother in law to switch cardiologists because "Dr. Pigeon is not watching her" . Doesn't require a "phd to figure out proper dosing".

His beside manner needs some help, But he will answer any and all questions. With him there are no stupid questions. He will explain until you know what is going on or what is at hand. He will also let you decide some of the out come. What I mean is he will present you with all your options, you may choose the one, but then again he might over ride you and explain why, or he will let you continue with then tell you what will happen if you do. Then its your life. I would listen to him. He has a very dry sense of humor, but all in all a great doctor that will save your life.
