Dr Tom has been our vet since moving back to MA in 2022.The office is well run, with friendly, helpful and caring staff. I cannot single out one person because they have all been great.! As Dr Insalaco helped us adjust to caring for a dog with kidney disease, the knowledge and support that he and his staff gave us was top notch. He is one of the most caring, empathetic vets I have ever met and is not afraid to shed a tear when delivering bad news. As we continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Lavender., I know we will be back with a new dog to love when the time is right.

We brought our little man there for an echocardiogram. He had a heart murmur. We were told it would take a half hour to 45 minutes. After an hour and a half I asked the guy behind the counter if everything was okay and he basically read me the Riot Act " this is a professional setting and your dog is not the only one here ". Very rude! I don't know what he said to the doctor but she would not speak with my wife and I unless we went outside. He was put on heart medication and was good for about a year. One day he started breathing very rapidly and passed out. My wife called right away and they gave us an appointment for another echocardiogram but not for 13 days! He passed out a couple times the next day my wife called frantically please see our dog they would not. Told us to bring him to the emergency hospital off of Riverdale Road. There are no cardiologists there and they knew it but we did not. They couldn't do anything for him they wouldn't even tweak his medication because they are not cardiologists! My wife called again the next day begging them to see our dog but they wouldn't. He was an established patient there but they refuse to see him. That guy behind the counter was literally yelling at my wife. We brought him to Tufts University. Right away they knew he had fluid around his heart and that he was passing out because the oxygen wasn't getting to his brain. He died. So much wasted time. He didn't deserve this he was our little boy. It has been almost 3 months and as I write this I'm sitting here crying like a baby. I implore you, do not trust these people!

I had one of the scariest experiences of my life here yesterday when my cat unexpectedly went into respiratory and cardiac arrest. Yet I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and the practice. From Jason's transparency and clear expectation setting during scheduling, to Justine keeping me company and diligently checking vitals as my cat stabilized, to other staff members who were present for the arrest and helped revive her checking in on both of us throughout the day - it's clear everyone here cares deeply about their furpatients and their parents. But what really blew me away was Dr. Masloski herself, who not only kept constant monitoring of my poor kitty, but also set realistic expectations about her recovery while keeping a positive attitude and showing compassion not just for my baby but for me. She personally made sure that I didn't lose my belongings, was fed and had water, tissues, etc., and encouraged me to take care of myself too. Dr. Masloski checked in on us when we got home, first thing the next morning, and again in the evening even though it was her day off. That in and of itself impressed me, but her empathy and humanity have been a part of every interaction we've had. It doesn't feel clinical or transactional or like she is checking a box when she talks to me - she opened up about her own experiences with her pets (and life). Talking to her feels more like talking to a friend or neighbor than a doctor but she also doesn't condescend and uses clear medical terminology when needed. What really stood out to me not just in my conversations with her but also Justine is how much she cares for and about not just her patients but also her colleagues - and it's clear that they all care about and respect each other. My kitty is still on the long road of recovery, but after having less certainty in interactions with other vets, I can confidently say I made the right choice entrusting her care to the team at Mass Veterinary, and I am so grateful to them all (especially you, Anne!) for helping us through such a difficult time.

I brought my 3 year old goldendoodle to this practice and was extremely impressed with the information and compassion that was provided and shown by the staff and doctor. The reason for coming to this practice was to obtain a second opinion as I had been bringing my dog to my original veterinarian for seizure issues where they offered little support. The doctor at this practice was highly intelligent and it was very clear that he cares about helping his patients and providing the best care possible. I will be staying with this practice in the future and highly recommend this place for high quality care! Thank you so much!

I have had such a great experience at this office. Athena and I have had such a scary, frustrating, and emotional time finding out that she had adrenal issues. Once we got to Mass Vet and met with Dr. Masloski and felt comfortable, reassured and supported in this journey. Seeing her interact with Athena was so reassuring as she snuggled, pet and talked to Athena like she was her own pet. I am so thankful to have such compassionate and high quality care so close to home. Thank you! -Krista and Athena
