MedStar Health: Radiology at Timonium

I've had several MRIs over the last few years and MedStar in Timonium is by far the best. The MRI Tech was a young lady (white with brown hair) and was just the sweetest, kindest person! She was patient, took the time to make sure I was comfortable, asked me questions in a confidential area, made sure to ask me what kind of music I liked to help keep me calm during the procedure. She even gave me blankets to keep me warm. When I asked for a second blanket, she gladly covered me with it with a smile (not like my experience at another well known radiology company where they told me they could only give me one blanket in that freezing cold room). She was unbelievable! There was literally a 5 minute wait time. These things are really important to most patients and I truly appreciated it. I will always get my MRIs at this location! Believe me, the others rush you through and don't give you the same calming experience.

Everyone was so nice, the establishment was very clean and I love that they had things decorated for Halloween. The MRI technician was also dressed in a tame but cute costume. I think this helps to put patients at ease while they are going through a stressful medical test.

Very friend receptionist at 7:00 a.m.! The person who guided me to the dressing room, lockers, etc. was not as friendly and seemed irritable. I am slightly disabled, and there was no offer to help me in any way. He did put on my socks because I told him I couldn't. But he was rather rough, almost slamming the earphones on my head. I was not happy with him. Could use some training, I think.

Very prompt response with scheduling appointment and test results. Fabulous support staff. Dr. Ring called to review the test results and treatment options. So pleased with the care and support of the entire MedStar Team at the Greenspring facility.

Everyone was very nice. The woman who checked me in was very professional, unlike other women who checked me in for appointments with Dr. David A. Cohen several years ago.
