I have a number of chronic medical problems and take a number of medications. Dr. Byrd has been very attentive to my medical needs and has made excellent referrals when needed. I was seeing her before she joined MDVIP and have not noticed any difference in care. I am especially appreciative of the ease in contact with her and her staff. Prompt answers mean a lot to someone like me who juggles various symptoms and medications. Dr Byrd is very good at giving directions, explanations and recommendations. She communicates clearly and I never feel like I am asking a silly question. Before I began seeing Dr. Byrd, I had the same excellent internist for 40 years. I was very worried about starting with someone new but both my former internist and Dr. Byrd have been instrumental in keeping me as functional as I am. I lead an active life despite my medical issues. I am most content when I get clear explanations; when the doctor takes the time to consider my questions and concerns. And, the ease of contact and ability to get quick appointments allay any fears or concerns. I am lucky.
