My wife and I had our first baby here and it went well all in all. Just be ready to order food but I expect that's most hospital meals ;) I can only speak to induction. Pros: -Responsive Nurses. -Spacious rooms. -Very well educated nurses. -Very well coordinated. -Friendly Nurses who make you feel at home. Cons: -Labor plans changed a little too frequently between who we were speaking to. -Our cord clamping plan was not respected and it seemed to be out of nurse convenience instead of medical urgency. Advice: ensure all nurses involved have read the birthing plan. Be ready to stick up for your birth plan without exception but be willing to allow the nursing staff to override if medically necessary. I felt like we were bullied about the clamping and it bothers me but the whole experience was great for 41hrs of labor otherwise.

Worst experience ever in life. I was admitted almost 2 weeks ago after constant bleeding, upper abdominal pain, and low hemoglobin. The nurse that first took care of me was extremely unprofessional and rude as hell! She treated me horribly until my parents got the room and suddenly changed her attitude infront of them. Biggest hypocrite. I was admitted for 5 days in which they ran multiple tests on me but still nothing was getting better. My symptoms stayed the same until on day 5 they decided to discharge me and send me home with tylenol The Dr suggested my parents take me to another hospital perhaps across the bridge. After still being in pain I was rushed to another Emergency room back in my hometown where within an hour of only running 2 tests (which were previously done more than once at TidalHealth) the Dr determined I had lots of Gallstones and needed to go into emergency surgery. The nurses were very surprised to hear that it wasn't " detected " just 2 days before. I received the best treatment at this hospital and am currently 5 days post cholecystectomy. Extremely disappointed that I was forced to go through all of this. Wish i saw all these reviews before going in !

Salisbury hospital this has got to be the worse visit yet. Was told by our dr to rush my husband into er for immediate IV his levels are dangerous low to the point he can have a seizure at any time - 5 hrs later not one nurse has talked to us & when one did come in she has a attitude. Then they inform us that because his blood sat for so long they now have to take his blood again & hope the lab gets to it fast enough but we don't know. What kinda of training are people given because they need to be taught manners & respect for the patient. Im disgusted by people that want a job but have no clue how to interact with patient's. I will continue to open my mouth & stand up for my husband. No wonder they have lawsuits against them.

My wife and I are expecting (In January) 1) I went on the website 2 months ago (August - its now October) to register for all the child birth classes. But apparently there is no room left in any of the classes they provide. So it will not even allow you to register... 2) When I called that same day in August I was met with voicemail, where I left my information and asked for a call back, no one ever returned my call. 3) Today (October 30th) again, I checked the website, still full. So again I called. The woman I got basically told me, tough luck and made no effort to provide any alternative solution. When I asked what we were supposed to do she said to wait until the 2026 class schedule was posted, but could not tell me when that would be. Then still made no effort to point me in any direction. In conclusion If you offer classes for child birthing, every month of the year, and every week of every month, and every space, in every class, is filled, FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! You maybe need to offer more classes. or have a plan for when the class is filled. Becoming a parent for the first time is extremely stressful, and no one prepares you for all of the things that need to happen. As a pillar of this community it is your responsibility to help support the people in it, there should be no reason someone could not attend this class. I can only hope some better patient relations training is given to these rude and uncaring people. If you cant provide the service, at least tell someone where else they could go. I am not an unreasonable person, really. If someone would like to reach out to me, I will consider removing this negative review, and leaving a positive one. I just could not believe the way this person handled the situation. Extremely frustrating, and I feel sorry for anyone that has to go through this when looking for help and guidance.

I have had pain for over a week. Over a week of suffering. I have went to this hospital at least 4 times and my latest time being in an ambulance. They don't listen what so ever and their tests are useless. A nurse nearly put me into a COMA when a nurse would not listen to my bodily concerns. I was given Benadryl, and shortly after- I began to shake uncontrollably, not able to move and barely able to talk. I asked my nurse if it was normal and she said "Uhm.. Maybe. I think you're just freaking yourself out." I was then ignored until she finally checked my blood sugar, only because she had to for a different patient. My blood sugar was 53 and dropping fast! Then she had the nerve to be shocked. Another time, a doctor recommended a psychiatrist.. Despite me crying in pain!! They said they couldn't help. Terrible hospital, their results are useless and take forever, staff is not attentive nor do they care.
